Jim Wergers – Deer Park Jr./Sr. High School Jim Wergers joined Deer Park Schools following 23 years with the Delhi Township Police Department. Wergers began his career with the Delhi Township PD in 1994, serving as a detective from 1998 until 2004, and was an assistant shift commander from 2006-2008. In 2008, he became a shift commander until his retirement in 2017. During this time, he was charged with the training and supervision of officers assigned to his command. In 2003, Wergers was awarded a Purple Heart Award. He has also been awarded a Life Saving Award in 2006, and Officer of the Month by the Cincinnati Citizens Police Association in 2003. Prior to his time with the Delhi Township PD, Wergers was a shift supervisor for the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts from 1982 until 1994. He received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati and an Associate of Technical Study in Law Enforcement from Cincinnati State. |
Brent Kahle - Amity Elementary Brent Kahle served as a senior patrolman for the Delhi Township Police Department for 25 years. Kahle began his career with the Delih Township PD in 1994, and has served a a field-training officers as well as time as officer-in-charge on duty. His police training includes Level 1 Traffic Accident Reconstruction, School-Safety Training, Mental Health Response Team and Bike Patrol. Kahle is a 1989 graduate of Oak Hills High School with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati. |
