Deer Park Schools to Host 'Stuff the Bus with Water Campaign' for Hurricane Relief
In response to the devastating impacts of recent hurricanes, Deer Park Schools is organizing a "Stuff the Bus with Water Campaign" to provide aid to those affected. This Friday, October 25th, the district is calling on the community to join together and help fill a school bus with bottled water to support hurricane relief efforts.
The event will take place at the Deer Park Jr./Sr. High School campus, coinciding with the Friday night football game. Community members are encouraged to drop off their water donations between 4:00 PM and half-time of the game. Volunteers will be on hand to assist with loading the water onto the bus, which will then be delivered to relief organizations helping those in need.
The event will be held at Harry Yeaggy Family Stadium during the football game, where Deer Park will be taking on Madeira High School for Senior Night. Attendees can drop off water bottles at the designated area near the bus before or during the game.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by natural disasters.
